Carla & Nelson
I cannot even believe we won’t see you again Pete. There are no words to describe what you meant to us. You were our big support by the time we live at the UK in Shaftesbury. Your friendship is not replaceable our dear friend. We will always keep in memory your laugh, your sense of humour and the way you talk when you were not happy with a situation or a person. An expression you used to say a lot “in my life time please” and we laugh after that. All the places we
visit with you, Glastonbury will be always your face. In Shaftesbury we used to have our Costa’s latte and a Reeves’s cake, with a good conversation outside having a ciggy before or after our work. Or having lunch with the Gold Hill view. Or when we cook the custard tarts that you loved and your cleaner wanted to share with you always but you didn’t and hide them. Always laughing with you! There is no way to think about the time we live there without thinking about you Pete. You were always there for us to support our happiness and sadness always! And we were always there for you too. This picture had been taken on the day we said goodbye to the UK and to you. You took us to the airport, and a few miles after we live we realised you were going to a different airport than the one we were suppose to go. Then we laugh, you turn around and you go fast for us do not miss the fly. But after that I remember I cried OMG we cried a lot. I was scared that moment could be the last time we would be with you. And unfortunately it was. We were expecting you to visit us but your health didn’t allowed you to come. You will be always in our memories and hearts. We have learnt a lot with you! We had no opportunity to say goodbye to you but now when I read your last message you have send to us I understand is was your heart saying goodbye Pete. You were making strong to attend you son’s wedding! Even not talking to you every day, Nelson and I had a code, if we saw at WhatsApp that you were online it means you were ok. But today after Nelson texting you and your lovely daughter replied saying that you had passed way, Pete I felt my heart melting of sadness. Lots of love.. our thoughts and prayers are with you wherever you are I know you are listening this words. And laughing with a tear! We will see you again maybe in another life I know we will! I know that you both, Damien and Beke already know but we always watch your dad’s eyes shinning all the time he talk about you both. He was very proud of you both. Lots of love Carla & Nelson xx
