Omg Beke and Dame…. That’s an amazing tribute to him. He’d be so proud of you both for having the courage to write that. If we all leave this planet with our kids being able to express their feelings toward us like that we’ll have all been so lucky. Trust your dad to be doing things different right to the last! He honestly was one of life’s massive characters, which I am so pleased to have spent time with throughout the years. His stories were legendary, his tales were tall and his company was never ever dull! I never could tell if he was bullshitting me or if he was telling the truth (apart from the football stories of him playing against Man United, they were total bollocks)! I seriously can’t carry on working after that, I’m all emotional. I’m going downstairs to grab a beer and drink to the your dad and to give the kids a hug.
